Loyal customers should be PRIORITY I have used online shopping for years now,service has been good up until covid 19 virus.Then ASDA just cast away there loyal customers even those with passes cant get slots.ASDA need to look after the customers that have been the bread and butter of the company for years and not the ones that have never used online shopping before,nor will they use ASDA again. In the last few weeks, delivery slots have gone live with dates for Christmas food orders. Asda has increased the number of weekly slots available this year as demand continues to grow. If it is past the end of your delivery slot please call us on 0845 300 7771 for help. (Calls will be charged at a local rate) If it is still within your allocated delivery time slot, please wait before calling us. Not sure if they will do anything as it cant be helpped that they are late and they have called to say they will be xx.
Sainsbury's and Tesco have warned there are delivery slot shortages and have posted notices online urging shoppers to come to the stores instead.
The online supermarkets have informed customers of changes to the availability of delivery slots. stating the sites are experiencing ‘high demand’.
A notice on Tesco’s website reads: “We are releasing slots as and when they become available, but they are filling up quickly.
“We ask those who are able to safely come to stores to do so, instead of shopping online, to help us prioritise slots for more vulnerable customers.”
They have no available slots until Wednesday.
Sainsbury's notice reads:”Slots are still in high demand.
“We have been working hard to expand our service.
“More slots are now available and we are able to offer some of them to other customers.

It comes as government scientists warned the UK could be heading for a second lockdown.
On Ocado’s ‘pick a slot’ page, a notice reads: “Delivery slots are selling out faster than usual.
'If you can't find a slot now, please use the 'Next 3 days' button to see available slots further in advance.”
Meanwhile in Manchester Asda did have some availability, but slots were priced at £6.50.

Tesco
Tesco’s Christmas delivery slots opened on 13 November for people on its delivery saver scheme, and are now available to everyone.
Deliveries cost between £4.50 and £5.50, or you can choose to click and collect for £1.50.

There is a £4 surcharge for deliveries under £40 and click and collect orders worth less than £25.

Sainsbury’s schedule is as follows:
- For delivery on 20 December, slots can be booked from 29 November
- For delivery on 21 December, slots can be booked from 30 November
- For delivery on 22 December, slots can be booked from 1 December
- For delivery on 23 December, slots can be booked from 2 December
Sainsbury’s delivery pass holders will be given early access, which they should receive via email.
The supermarket charges £7 for delivery on orders under £40 and between 50p and £7 for orders over £40, depending on the slot.
There is a minimum order of £25. Click and collect is also available.
Waitrose
Waitrose’s Christmas delivery slots are now live on its website.
Delivery is free, but there is a minimum spend of £40. The same applies for click and collect orders.
